PSPUAE is a version of the well-known Amiga emulator E-UAE for Sony's portable game console PSP.
The PSPUAE Fame/C-edition works faster as the original PSPUAE but is more unstable and savestates of Fame/C-edition are not compatible to the ones of the normal PSPUAE-version. Currently PSPUAE Fame/C is not developed further. For further information please have a look at the readme-files in the archive.

Amiga Forever Live: Streaming Meetup on Thursday
Press release: When Amiga events were more frequent and lots of people attended, it was a pleasure to meet in person. As software developers, we could better understand what features we should work on, and our users could often better appreciate the challenges we faced ourselves. At the end, we would both learn and make new friends.
Amiga events are sadly not as frequent as in the past, but as more people have higher speed internet access we would like to try and recreate some of that "live" spirit with a combined video broadcast and chat session.
We've scheduled a first 30-minute "Amiga Forever Live" show for Thursday, December 4, 19:30 CET (10:30 AM PST, 1:30 PM EST). This first event is likely to be somewhat rough, as it is our first experience with live video broadcasting, so please be patient! If things go well we hope to be able to organize more live events, also on week-ends and at different times. The scheduling of the first episode matched with the opportunity to have a special guest.
The address of the live show, which includes a chat window for questions and comments, is www.ustream.tv/channel/amigaforever. If you would like to submit questions until a few hours before the show, feel free to do so via the contact form. After that, please use the chat feature (registration required) on the broadcast page. (cg)

AROS for AmigaOS: Bugfixes for AfA 4.3
Bernd Rösch's "AROS für AmigaOS" (AfA) is a port of single AROS-components to AmigaOS.
Because with the last published update AfA 4.3 the menu was not correctly displayed at screens with 8-Bit (or lower), the author has published an update of the graphics.library.
There is a similar bug at 16 or 24-Bit screens. This is fixed by the installation of a reworked intuition.library.

amigabounty.net: Status-Update to Sputnik and Allegro
The AmigaOS 4 specific bounty site amigabounty.net was reworked and offers now the possibility to pay money for software projects, to suggest software projects or to get an overview about the current "Bounties".
For Sputnik the amigabounty.net-administrator has announced that the developer Marcin "Marcik" Kwiatkowski apologized for the delay and he is going to publish his Web-browser for AmigaOS 4 in December. A detailed status update will follow soon.
The second Amigabounty-project is a port of the SDL-like multimedia library Allegro. The project has been almost finished but under AmigaOS 4.1 there are still some problems. The author Colin Wenzel currently is very buzy but he hopes to finish the poject during the next weeks.

Web-Browser: OWB 1.4 for AmigaOS 3
Jörg Strohmayer has published an update of his port of the Web-browser OWB. Please note that this port includes the older "Blastoise"-version of OWB. Additionally the OS3-version requires at least an (emulated) 68k-CPU with 500 Mhz. There are several limitations and the version requires several external components (GeekGadgets, ixemul.library etc.). You can get further information in the readme.
Changes in version 1.4:
- Didn't exit after printing the error message if Picasso96API.library
is missing, fixed
- Fixed wrong CPU and FPU checks
- Speed up text rendering
- Added support for an unicode fallback font since even for exapmple for
greek the AmigaOS 3.x compugraphic fonts aren't enough. It's not
configurable yet, the name has to be "Bitstream Cyberbit". If you use
ttf.library make sure you do NOT use ttfcodepage nor a font specific
codepage (other than ISO-8859-1)
- Ported Andrea's ARexx port to AmigaOS 3.9 (hostname: OWB, commands:
OPENURL "url", STOP, GOBACK, GOFORWARD)
