AmigaOS 4: Integrated development environment "CodeBench" (preview)
Simon "Rigo" Archer develops an integrated development environment called CodeBench for AmigaOS 4 (screenshot). There will be a limited version of the program with the next OS4-SDK. The full version of CodeBench will be distributed commercially.
The author describes CodeBench as "plugin-based management-system". The C/C++ and PHP/HTML-plugins already work. With the help of the corresponding plugin each programming language can be supported. CodeBench can compile itself as well as AmigaOS 4 source code.
Under the title link the author explained some features of CodeBench in a discussion.

Amiga-clone: First Natami-prototype is produced
The Amiga-clone NatAmi developed by Thomas Hirsch has a reimplementation of the Amiga-Custom Chips - in contrary to similar projects the AGA-compatibility is aspired.
Meanwhile the development of the NatAmi-motherboard was forwarded so far that the production of the first prototype called NatAmi60 could be started.
The specification of the NatAmi60 includes 16 Mb Chip-RAM, 256 Fast-RAM, a 68060-processor as well as several improvements of the chipset features. For further information have a look at section Questions and Answers.

AROS: SMTP-Server
Based on the Yet Another FTP Server a SMTP-server for AROS/x86 and Windows was developed which receives eMails and saves them in a directory.
If you want to test this first version you have to enter the IP-address in the file smtp.ini and to create a directory e.g. ram:mailbox/site-admin. If yoo then establish a connection to an email program just like Thunderbird and send an eMail to site-admin@[IP-address of the server] the email is saved in the created directory.

AmigaOS 4: PFTP 0.3
Pete's FTP (creenshot) written by Peter Gordon offers unlimited windows, server-to-server-transfers and drag-and-drop-support.
Changes:
- The check to see if a date was in the future when we had to guess the year didn't take into account the fact that the server time might be ahead of ours; the check now makes sure that the date is not more than 24 hours ahead of the local system time
- Now built with GCC 4.2.4
- Swapped obsolete calls to the corresponding AllocSysObject ones
- There was one message port per subtask that wasn't being freed; they are now
- A couple of things that were MEMF_ANY are now MEMF_SHARED
- When I re-ordered the transfer queue columns in 0.2 I forgot to update the cancelled and finished transfer pages, which meant that the filename wasn't shown; this is now fixed
- Finished transfers now show their final CPS
- Re-added the stats page and now it actually has some stats in it!
