System information: xSysInfo 0.10.0 xSysInfo is a comprehensive system information program for AmigaOS. It provides detailed insights into the Amiga system's hardware and software configuration as well as benchmarking features (amiga-news.de reported). Amiga emulator witten in Rust: Copperline 0.20.0 (Web-App, macOS and Windows) Version 0.20 of Copperline, an Amiga emulator written in Rust, adds two-player Netplay, a rebuilt debugging workspace, and a libretro core for RetroArch. AROS x86_64: Version 2026.09 of the ABI-v11 developer branch Press release: In April 2025 AROS user community started a project aimed at migrating from legacy 32-bit AROS system to a modern, 64-bit base system. Today, with the release of AROS ABIv11 2026.09 this migration is completed! This new relase brings many improvements, including new recommended hardware, USB3 support and refreshed NVidia 2D and 3D drivers. Most of the essential software has already been ported to 64-bit during the migrations period. Latest software can be found on AROS Archives. For software that could not be ported, this release comes with integrated emulator for running legacy 32-bit applications. Today's release is a base system release. Email client: AmiMAIL 2.0.2 for AmigaOS 3.2 (and 4) In mid-August, Andreas 'Andiweli' Stürmer released the first version of AmiMAIL, a new IMAP/SMTP email client for AmigaOS 3.2. The current version 2.0 incorporates numerous changes and improvements: it now supports up to five accounts, each of which can have its own signature set. The HTML email converter now works much more accurately and has been trained using various emails. The menu has also been expanded.
Attachments can be saved easily, and emails to which you reply now have the correct ‘Answered’ flag set, so that they are marked with a ‘replied to’ arrow in other IMAP clients, such as Thunderbird. AmiMAIL itself currently indicates this with a note at the bottom of the window. Although the developer wrote his email client specifically for AmigaOS 3.2, our own extensive tests show that it runs just as reliably and stably on AmigaOS 4.1, meaning that there is now once again an extremely user-friendly and easy-to-use IMAP client available for both branches of the operating system.
