Boléro reinterpreted on C64, Amiga, and NES German IT magazine heise online reports on an unusual interpretation of Ravel's Boléro, which was recorded exclusively with retro hardware. Swedish sound tinkerer Linus Åkesson used a Commodore 64, an Amiga 600, and a Nintendo NES, among other things, as well as his own hardware modifications and homemade synthesizers to completely recreate the approximately 14-minute piece. Amiga Games That Weren't: Teeny Weeny Western The website Games That Weren't featured another unreleased game project from the early 1990s called "Teeny Weeny Western". The Western title was originally planned for multiple platforms, including Super Nintendo, Amiga, CD32, PC, and CD-i, but was never completed. The game was intended to combine elements of adventure, action, and economic simulation, a sort of mixture of Monkey Island, Zelda, and Carry on Cowboy: players would have been able to act as cowboys, ranchers, or traders, fight, buy horses, gamble, or engage in other activities in the Wild West. Thanks to rediscovered materials and archival work, the first assets, maps, and parts of the code could be reconstructed, giving an impression of the ambitious concept behind the project.
