Puzzle game: "Boxed Edition" of Astro Blox Revisited
In summer the puzzle game 'Astro Blox Revisited' has been released at the "Decrunch 2020" in Poland. Meanwhile there is also a "boxed edition" which can be purchased via two online shops worldwide or in Poland. In this edition a DVD case, a CD, a disk as well as a poster are included.

PDF magazine: REV'n'GE 116 (Italian/English)
The PDF magazine REV'n'GE ("Retro Emulator Vision and Game") is available in Italian as well as in an English-language translation. REV'n'GE compares and reviews games and programs on vintage computers.
Among others the latest issue includes Amiga articles about the Pac-Man clone "Cruncher Factory" and the multidirectional shooter "Spherical Worlds" as well as a comparision of MOTOROLA and INTEL processors.

Action adventure: Port of Heart of Darkness (1998)
Heart of Darkness, released in the late 1990s, is inspired by Chahi's classic Another World but was delivered on CD and therefore offered more animations. Now Artur "Arti" Jarosik has ported the game to AmigaOS. Additionasl to the original files of the game an upgraded Amiga are required - a 68060 or Apollo processor is recommended.

Game collection of Luca Carminati for free download
On itch.io, Luca Carminati has released some arcade games for free download which he developed in the mid-1990s for the Amiga. In his Amiga Games Pack (video) the Shareware games Kangy and HyperViper as well as the 'Asteroids' clone 'Croins', the Pang game 'Marietto' and the ski racing game 'Slalom Speciale' are included.

Commercial text adventure: 'Tristam Island' available
At the beginning of October, a playable demo version of the commercial text adventure 'Tristam Island' was released. For four US-Dollar now the game which is using Infocom's virtual machine Z-Machine can be purchased on itch.io.

AmigaOS 4: MultiEdit 1.13
A-EON Technology has released an update of its text editor MultiEdit which is only available via the Updater tool. For purchasers of the version released in 2016 or of the commercial Enhancer software, MultiEdit 1.13 is available for free.
The program requires the Toolbar-Gadget class, also available via the Updater.

AmiModRadio is "a program to automatically download, extract, and play modules from Aminet." A rating function is included as well. The new version "now has three tasks collaborating to bring you the best modules from the Internet". And the author continiues to explain: "That means no more frozen UI while modules download and downloading can be interrupted at anytime (Just press the stop button!) I also refactored my code to make it more beautiful and fixed several (logic) bugs." If you want to report bugs then please use the official bugtracker.

CS-Lab: Prototypes of accelerator boards Warp 3060/4060 and of CDTV-60
On his "unofficial Warp 3060/4060 page", Greg Donner reports about news of CS-Lab. According to him, now prototypes of the accelerator boards Warp 3060/4060 and CDTV-60 have been finished. Both boards have socketed 68060 CPUs.
Images of the prototypes CS-Lab has published on its Facebook website and Greg Donner on his website as well.

CDXL player: AGABlaster 0.9.81
AGABlaster plays videos saved in Commodore's CDXL format (amiga-news.de reported). Now the program is closed when the film has ended (except the command "noexit" was entered).

Game Construction Kit: RedPill 0.83
RedPill developed by Carlos Peris is a Game Construction Kit written in AmiBlitz2, which can help developing games of diverse genres - see our little review of two games. RedPill is compatible to AGA and ECS, the "player" requires a total of 1,5 MB RAM.
Changes in version 0.83:
- Compiler changed from Amiblitz 2.44 to Amiblitz 3.8. This has some implications:
- Now lower limit to play games is a Motorola 68000 instead of a 68020.
- There are two editors, one generic and one for 020+.
- When exporting a game you have to select if it is generic or for 020+.
- Performance seems slightly better.
- To avoid compilation issues, some more memory is used by the game player.

MorphOS: Mousemeter 1.3
Mousemeter written by Stefan Blixth (OnyxSoft) is a Screenbar extension for Ambient "which let you see the amount of mouse movements
done on your system. It also show the avarage speed". Additional to minor bug fixes, version 1.3 adds German and Turkish translations.

MorphOS: Web browser Wayfarer 1.7
Jacek 'jacadcaps' Piszczek has released version 1.7 of his web browser Wayfarer. Additional to bug fixes - e.g. tar.gz archives were decompressed on the fly while downloading them, some new features like online version check have been added.
MorphOS 3.14 as well as 1 GB RAM are required, a processor with at least 1,5 GHz is recommended. For giving feedback please use the corresponding discussion on morphzone.

Mutation Software: 'Gold Compilation' for CD32, CyberPunks 2 announced
The Mutation Gold Compilation, released in 1998, is a CD32-compatible CD containing Mutation's games Doodlebug, Cyberpunks, Tin Toy, Tommy Gun and Castle Kingdoms. The first two games were adapted to the CD32 joypad. All the games are also available in the new edition but "fixed, updated and remastered by the original developers" and can be purchased now.
Additionally on its website Mutation Software has announced a second part for the top down shooter Cyberpunks.
