Amiga-Emulator: FS-UAE 2.5.39dev
FS-UAE 2.5.39dev is an update for the "stable" version of Frode Solheim's WinUAE-port FS-UAE. The first beta versions of the forthcoming version 2.6 were released three weeks ago.

Changes in version 2.5.39dev:
  • Updated config for Logitech F310 and added Thrustmaster Dual Action 4
  • Updated AROS kickstart replacement to ver. 2015-05-20 from WinUAE 3.1.0
  • Config files must end with .fs-uae or .conf to be loaded by FS-UAE
  • If you give fs-uae a command line argument with path to a .adf, it will be used as value for floppy_drive_0
  • Imported updated translations from crowdin.com
Known problems:
  • When entering the GUI using modifier+F12, the modifier key(s) sticks in the emulated Amiga when you return to the emulation
  • Graphical flickering in Workbench with non-cycle-exact emulation
Changes in FS-UAE Launcher 2.5.39dev:
  • CD images for database games will now be extracted from archives on demand. (there will always be a temp copy made right now, even when not needed)
  • If you give the launcher (command line) the path to a zip or lha, it will try to find a contained WHDLoad slave and configure an A600 + 8MB fast RAM and start FS-UAE
  • Updated Info.plist and specified 10.7.0 as minimum OS X version
  • Added version update check for beta branch
  • Imported updated translations from crowdin.com

Event: Update on Amiga 30 Reykjavik
This friday the Amiga 30 anniversary will be celebrated in Iceland (amiga-news.de reported). As Michael Battilana of Cloanto (owner of the Commodore/Amiga copyrights and publisher of Amiga Forever) told us now, he will attend the show as well.

Furthermore he pointed out that they "will be a couple of dozen people, which is not much in absolute terms, so even having a website is a lot. On the other hand, it looks like almost 0.01 % of the population of the entire country will attend, which in this light makes it by far the most successful Amiga anniversary event of the year, or actually, one of the largest computing events in the world. There will be Amiga demosceners, developers, users, and people in general whose life has been affected by Amiga." In case you decide spontaneously to join as well, you might want to combine the event with the Reykjavík Culture Night (Menningarnótt) that takes place on Saturday. (snx)

Web-Browser: Netsurf 3.3 alpha with Reaction interface
Chris Young has ported his AmigaOS 4-port of the web browser Netsurf to AmigaOS 3. In contrary to the ports made available for the Amiga by Artur 'Arti' Jarosik - which unfortunately are distributed with the same name - Young's version uses a native Amiga-toolkit,

Due to the use of Reaction, at least AmigaOS 3.5 is required. According to the author this latest version is an alpha version.
