AmigaOS 4: Role playing game SoulFu, diverse 3D games updated
Hugues 'HunoPPC' Nouvel has ported the RPG 'SoulFu' to AmigaOS. It requires his updated EGL-Wrapper. Furthermore some older ports have been updated and adapted to the EGL-Wrapper which mostly improves the performance. Therefore it is possible to run the games in higher screen modes. The updated games are 'Pacman Arena', 'Pingus', 'Reborn to Castle Wolfenstein', 'Return to Castle Wolfenstein' and 'ZAZ'. (cg) (Translation: dr)

Commercial puzzle game: MATCHIC Collector's Edition (Update)
In the puzzle game MATCHIC you have to place tokens of the same colour next to each other to make them disappear. The game was already commercially released in 1991 but only available only for a short time due to the bankruptcy of the publisher. The British publisher Psytronik is going to relaunch the game in a big box.


The box contains the following items:
  • MATCHIC game on 3.5" disk presented with a vinyl disk label.
  • A3 game artwork poster.
  • Glossy instruction manual.
  • Glossy art card.
  • Badges.
  • Stickers.
  • Keyring.
The game will be delivered in March. Everyone who pays in advance will get a discount of 10 percent on the selling price of about 47 Euro.

In addition to the Collector's Edition, there's also a Premium+ Edition (disk and booklet in a plastic case with a professionally printed inlay for 13 GBP or 15.70 EUR) as well as a Budget Edition (just disk and booklet for 6.30 GBP or 7.60 EURO) available. (cg) (Translation: dr)

Amiga comeback: Game developer and mailorder publisher 'Mutation Software'
The programmer Adrian Cummings is going to reactivate his old label 'Mutation Software' which in the 90ies he used to release and sell some games for the Amiga and PC. Now new editions of three former games are planned.

Tin Toy Adventure, Tommy Gun and Castle Kingdoms will be available again in spring - all of them in a box in a limited edition inclusive an autograph of the developer. For autumn a new platform game "Wiz" has been announced.

At the beginning of the year Cummings has released the assembler sourcecode of his game Cyberpunks originally published by Core Design as well as an archive with several graphics. Due to a hard disk failure the source code is slightly damaged at two points. Besides some informationen on level data are missing.
