Music: Little Psyria homepage update
Today there has been a little update at Psyria's homepage and the Amiga Future track has been released there. That one was recently only available at the homepage of the Amiga Future as exclusive download as VBR or CBR MP3.

Pixel Art (E-Mail)


Tool: Pixload 2.0
"Pixload" has been released in version 2.0. That tool allows, similiar like Amidock does, to launch programs and scripts via an icon using MUI. With this version "drag and drop" is implemented.

Thendic: MorphOS runs on the "AmigaOne" already
Within a comment at ANN Bill Buck and Raquel Velasco told, that MorphOS runs on the AmigaOne already. Futher Ben Hermans (Hyperion) is told that he's welcome to buy a Pegasos from those actually produced 1000 pcs run without doing the betatesting. At least Thendic offers the interested ones to send them a detailed report about all the legal issues ("detail legal brief"). (ps) (Translation: ub)

fxSCAN sidegrade-offers, more news
In a time-limited offer until the 1st of October 2002, we are giving you the possibility to sidegrade fom your current scanner software (ScanQuix, ScanTek, ArtecScan, other software on request) to fxSCAN 4.0.

The DynDNS client AmiDynDns is released in the latest version 1.15: New/changes:
  • Now GUI is font sensitive

Big September-Update on Amiga Interactive Guide
Amiga Interactive Guide deals with the history of Amiga and is one of the biggest site of its kind in English. In this September update about 15 MB of material are added. Mail program: YAM New developer version of 03-Sep-2002
Now the developer version 2.4 of the mail program YAM, now Open Source, is available. It is a work-in-progress version, maybe containing bugs, and the developer team gives no support and guarentee. Questions via eMail will not be answered. Use on your own risk!

AF: Test WolfChild, tombola, poll, anniversary
At the homepage of the Amiga Future Homepage today there has been released a test of WolfChild within the article area. We want to continue to contribute articles of older games. It's obvious that we need users who will write those. Users who are interested might contact the editoral staff.

Until the 5th of September 2002 there is still our anniversary special. There is a subscription of the Amiga Future including the CD for half a year for only 17,- Euro.

And there is a tombola at the Amiga Future homepage at the interactive area, there are the following give aways to catch: Feeble Files und Exodus. You don't need to do more than to send us your cheats and you get the chance to win one of these prices.

Statement by Thendic regarding reproaches by Amiga Inc.
Thendic France, bPlan and the MorphOS team comment on the earlier allegations by Amiga Inc. regarding the legality of MorphOS in a short statement at morphos-news.de (title link), after the deadline set by AI, after which they would start legal proceedings (1 Sep 2002), has passed without discernible action. Amiga Club Contest finished
The choices of the logo and the name of the formerly called "I am Amiga"-club of Amiga Inc. have been finished. The name of the club will be "Team Amiga" and the chosen logo was designed by Mark Rickan und Simo Ami.

Sound: AC97Mixer V2.1 for SB 128 sound card (Amithlon)
On 1st September 2002 Frank Fenn has published version 2.1 of "AC97Mixer" for Amithlon. In this version the support of ESS1968 (Maestro) has been added. Thus "AC97Mixer" now supports the SB128 sound card, the SB Live and the VIA onboard sound. (ps) (Translation: dr)

Although a few days have been gone. The newest versions of the extraction system XAD and of the unpacking system XFD have been published at the end of August. Additional to many detailed improvements the following points may be mentioned:
