Vintage Computer Festival: BBC-report mentioned Amiga
The BBC-magazine Click reported on the Vintage Computer Festival under the title link.
In this report you can see Stunt Car Racer on an Amiga 1200 as well as the Workbench of an Amiga 1000 and the board of the AmigaOne X1000 developed by A-EON Technology. Stephen Jones who sells the Imica-complete systems was interviewed. He mentioned AmigaOS and MorphOS while his explanations on AROS were cut out.

Asiarim owns Commodore trade marks since February
Since February the Hong Kong company Asiarim Corporation has bought the last parts of the Commodore trade marks . Thus Asiarim is the only owner of the trade mark "Commodore".

MUI-class: TextEditor.mcc 15.34
An update of the MUI-class TextEditor.mcc was published for AmigaOS 3/4, MorphOS and AROS. In version 15.34 several bugs were fixed. Crashes and some problems of the memory managment should be fixed. Besides, an installation script was added.

AROS-Distribution: Broadway 0.0.2R7
Pascal Papara has published an update of his AROS-distribution Broadway. Some changes in version 0.0.2R7:
- Requester improved
- AMC-Video-Demo ("Buy"-button works now, but there is still nothing to buy!)
- Broadway-Guide works without problems (more guides will follow)
- System works fine (AresOne)
- Wallpaper fits to all solutions up to 1080p

- If you want to change the solution in the screenprefs, please close the starter with ctrl-c (strg-c)!
- The online update will follow, ISO for 0.0.2R7 is already available
- if the games should run too slowly in the DOSBox, please increase the frameskip with Strg-F8.

FlexCat 2.7: Ports for all Amiga-systems and Linux
FlexCat creates catalog files as well as the source files. Meanwhile FlexCat is open-source and is developed further by the FlexCat Open Source Team.
In version 2.7 several bugs were fixed and a new installation script added. Additionally ports for MorphOS, AROS and Linux were published.
Several translations are included in the archive but only the German and Polish ones are up-to-date. If you are interested in supporting the project by updating a different translation then please write a mail to the team.

Jump and Run: Sqrxz 0.9.9

AmigaOne X1000 to appear at Amiga-Event 2010 in Essen, Germany
Press release London 27th June 2010 - Following the successful debut of the AmigaOne X1000 at the UK's inaugural Vintage Computer Festival at Bletchley Park last weekend it will make another public appearance running the latest AmigaOS 4 Update at the Amiga-Event 2010 in Essen, Germany to mark the 25th Anniversary of the original Amiga 1000.
A-EON Technology and Hyperion Entertainment will again share a joint stand. Come along and meet A-EON and the Hyperion developers and take the opportunity to get up close and personal with the new AmigaOne computer. It is anticipated that AmigaKit, the lead distributor for the AmigaOne X1000, will have a German version of the AmigaOne "Boing Ball" keyboard available for sale at the Essen show.

The OpenSSL-project is a toolkit implementation of the protocols Secure Sockets Layer (SSL v2/v3) and Transport Layer Security (TLS v1).

MorphOS: SCANdal 1.4 (Beta)
MuiScan written by Michal "zukow" Zukowski is a scanner application which supports driver in Betascan-format (screenshot). Changes in version 1.4:

- DPI saving in JPEG and TIFF saver

Audio-Tools: Normalize 0.7.7, VorbisTools 1.4.0, mp3gain 1.5.1
Michel "DMX" Bagmeijer has compiled some tools for editing audio files for AmigaOS: mp3gain and Normalize adapt the volume of different files. Vorbistools is a collection of tools for encoding, decoding and editing of Ogg-Vorbis audio files.

AmigaOS 4: Aquaria ported (beta version)
Aquaria (screenshot) is a commercial 2d-action-adventure published by Bit Blot for Windows, Mac OS and Linux. Andrea Palmatè has ported this game also to AmigaOS 4 which can be downloaded as beta version under the title link.
The archive includes the demo version of the game. The complete version must be bought from Bit Blot.
System requirements:
- An Amiga NG (SAM, micro-A1, A1, Pegasos 2)
- 512 MB of RAM (1 GB reccomended)
- A video card with at least 64 MB of RAM (128 MB recommended to play the game correctly)
- Latest SDL library (included in the package)
- OpenAL (the included one does cause an error at exit of the program)
- MiniGL 2.2 (included in the package)
Known problems:
- If you have a system with 512 MB and 64 MB video RAM, it is better to close all programs before running Aquaria. Use also a 16 Bit Workbench screen with compositing effects off to save Video RAM
- You could get trashed textures in the menu (and also during the game). This means that you are out of memory (video and/or system).
The game is still playable but you should free something before continuing to play. A video card with 128 MB of RAM should cure all problems. Otherwise, if this happens you can close the game and restart from a saved location
- When you push escape key during the game the machine could freeze. I don't know why but i have nothing on the serial debug output and I don't know why it does freeze
