Sample source code: Hardware-oriented programming with Free Pascal
Marcus 'ALB42' Sackrow has published on GitHub some examples for hardware-near programming - i.e. writing directly to chip registers - with Freepascal. The goal was to create the shortest possible compilations that recreate typical demoscene effects: the 700-byte tool 'copper' creates a copper list, while the 3-kilobyte 'sinus' uses the copper to manipulate bitplanes to create a sine effect.
