Redesign: Amiga-compatible Joypad 'Protopad'
The well-known C64 vendor Protovision has successfully finished a fundraising campaign for the production of new joypads especially designed for the C64, but also compatible with Amiga (we reported). More than 15,000 Euro collected mean that the new paddles including multibutton controllers can be produced.
Now they are thinking about a redesign. The developers write:
"After the successful crowdfunding campaign for the Protopad, we worked enthusiastically on the project and made some tweaks to make this pad the best possible. During this time, we realized that we were not satisfied with the controller case we originally intended to use. As a result, we are currently looking into suitable alternatives. This has set us back a bit in our intended schedule." (dr) (Translation: bb)
