Another FPGA-based CPU card in developement
Mike Stirling is building a FPGA-based accelerator board which will use the open source 68k core TG68 as CPU. The latest prototypes still use a FPGA developer board (Terasic DE0 Nano) which is connected to the CPU socket of the Amiga. Using self made boards will follow later.
In contrast to the well-known Vampire, here it will be focused on maximum compatibility. Additional to the fast processor and Fast-RAM, the current prototypes also can access SD cards. First of all the board is being developed for the Amiga 500 which is followed by versions for other Amiga models.
