Amiga 600/1200: PCMCIA-SRAM-card can be preordered (Update) In the Polish webshop of RetroAmi you can preorder a PCMCIA-card with 4 MB Fast-RAM for the Amiga 600 and 1200. It is equipped with SRAM ICs with 55 ns access time. This is supposed to boost a standard Amiga - according to SysInfo - to 1,67 MIPS (screenshot). The card will be delivered at the end of August and costs about 50 Euro. Update: (17:45, 28.05.14, snx) Please note that the card is not buffered by a battery, thus any data stored in SRAM will be lost once the computer is turned off.
