AROS: 68k-Distribution AROS Vision 1.6.0
Olaf Schönweiß has updated his AROS/68k-distribution which is a combination of AROS and AmigaOS software (screenshot, English tutorial). Additional to the changes listed below, in version 1.6.0 some software parts were removed.
Improvements:
- MMU support (boots with 68040/68060 and MMU but without 32 bit RAM)
- Extended debugging (WinuaeEnforcer works)
- Better classic hardware support (e.g. ATA for A1200/4000)
- Faster (expecially memory allocation)
- Bugs removed (e.g. Prefs work now)
- Amiblitz fully works
- System files updated
