AmigaOS 4: Dir Me Up 2.0
Jérôme 'Glames' Senay's Dir Me Up is a commercial file manager for AmigaOS 4.1. With version 2.0, it can also show pictogramms or thumbnails, includes an integrated picture viewer and can refer files to external programms. Additionally a PDF-tutorial was published which introduces the programm.
Detailed changes in Dir Me Up 2.0:
- View by icons
- Show thumbnails for images
- Use the "Composition" mode for generating thumbnails (if possible, otherwise rendering software)
- Image Viewer included
- Preview images even if they have no extensions (png, jpg, ...)
- Improved graphics default theme
- New "Office" (doc, docx, odt, rtf..) and "Spreadsheet" (xls, tbc) types
- Interconnection possible with external software to view files "text", "Office" and "Spreadsheet"
- External software can now also be a Amicygnix software like Abiword, Gimp...
- Software translated into Swedish and Greek (Greetings to "Niolator" and Anthony Iliakis)
