Retro case: X500 Plus can be ordered
Loriano 'TheDaddy' Pagni has set a price for his self-made computer case X500 Plus : For 318 Euro (259 UKP, 416 USD) the purchaser will get a black or white case for Mini-ITX-/Flex-ATX-motherboards with the following, still installed components:
- black or white USB keyboard and all the screws, nuts, washers & spacers
- rubber feet
- on/off switch
- LEDs
- custom made steel DVD and 3.5" USB card reader brackets
- slim SATA DVD-RW drive with SATA cable
- 3.5" USB card reader (52in1)
- one 40mm silent fan
- silicone fan mounts on the right side (in case you want to add extra fans)
- powder coated aluminium base and rear (inside and out) in black or white with a matt finish
The case must be paid in advance. Only 50 units will be made and the purchaser has the following ordering options:
- X500 Plus colour (white or black)
- Colour combination of the LEDs (white, blue, red, green or amber, they are interchangeable)
- Please confirm keyboard layout preference (U.K. layout is second best option if first is not available)
- Would you like two free ACube's "A" keys adhesives?
If you are going to buy a case then please contact Pagni via eMail and write him your prefered configuration as well as full home address (for the delivery) and your your Paypal email address. According to Pagni the delivery will take 2-4 weeks.
At the end Pagni wrote: "This project has sucked a lot of energy, free time and money, my entire classic, NG Amiga and Commodore collection, plus my car (twice!) and a few other items which ended up on ebay during seven years.
