AmigaOne X1000: Costs for used CPU about 100% higher than expected
On amigaworld.net users discussed why the AmigaOne X1000 are delivered so slowly. Trevor Dickinson from A-EON also posted a comment: "There were some minor logistical delays from Varisys set against the backdrop of rising PA-SEMI CPU (~100%) prices and other components."
In a interview one and a half year ago Dickinson specified the costs for the PA Semi-CPU in the X1000 with 500. It is not clear if this is the original price or not.
Dickinson said: "We decided to absorb the hardware price rises and not pass them on to consumers."
