ACube announces complete systems labeled "AmigaOne 500"
ACube announces the "AmigaOne 500", a complete system based on their well-known PPC motherboard Sam460ex. It comes in a case with "AmigaOne 500" and Boingball stickers and includes the following components:
- Sam460ex 1.15 GHz
- 2 GB DDR2 RAM
- 500 GB HD
- DVD RW
- PCI SATA 3512 controller
- AmigaOne mouse
- Stickers for keyboard customization
- Optional: PCIe Radeon 4650 1 GB VIDEO RAM
- Optional: SATA2 SSD (Solid State Disk) 64 GB or 128 GB (replacing the internal 500 GB hard disk)
The systems are said to be available from September 26 onwards, they will ship for 878 Euro (excluding taxes and shipping costs). (cg)
