AROS: Progress of 68k-Version Toni Wilen is working on the second part of the Kickstart replacement bounty project. Meanwhile the 68k-version of the open source operating system AROS runs in the Amiga emulator WinUAE and makes it there possible to use AmigaOS programs. This is documentated by Krzysztof 'deadwood' Smiechowicz with a video as well as two screenshots (Workbench-Clock and KeyShow, Directory Opus 5). The beta version 8 of the WinUAE-version 2.3.1 (winuae.zip, 2 MB) as well as the latest Nightly Build of AROS/68k are required. (snx) (Translation: dr) [News message: 02.
