Hardware: A-EON announced AmigaOne X1000 Finally after a one-week marketing-campaign today the Belgian-British company A-EON has published detailed information on his AmigaOS 4-hardware which will be called "AmigaOne X1000". According to the website the X1000 is supposed to be availble "still before summer" and will help to establish the Amiga again as combination of "great hardware as well as great Operating System". They are not still allowed to call the name of the used CPU. Currently it is available only very limited. Most of the readers probably had never seen "one in the wild". "It's a dual-core Power Architecture CPU, with a very low Thermal Design Point". The specifications of the X1000-motherboard, called "Nemo":
