Boardgame port: Africa 1.0 Africa is a new conversion of the 1977 3W boardgame "Africa" for up to 5 human or computer controlled players. The SAS/C and StormC source code is included. In this game each player takes the role of one of the powers attempting to establish or maintain a sphere of influence in the southern half of the African continent. By interfering in the economic stability and political alliance of nations, and by subsidising them, the players attempt to extend their political control of Africa, while diminishing the control of their opponents. There is the opportunity to set up governments in favour of the players, encourage revolutions, start wars between the African nations and even introduce armies of the player-powers into the continent. Africa requires AmigaOS 3.0+, AGA/RTG and 640x512 or a better screen resolution. Download: Africa.lha (193 KB) (snx) (Translation: nba) [News message: 20.
