Golem: act on e-waste is shortly coming into force
On Friday 24 March 2006 the "Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act" (ElektroG) comes into force. Then it is prohibited to dispose of electronic equipment via domestic waste. Electrical equipment has to be delivered to local collection points. The producers have to take them back for recycling. Read the complete article at golem's IT news, available under the link above.
