Codex Alpe Adria 2005: Update This is a short update on Codex Alpe Adria 2005, which takes place over the week-end in Udine, Italy (just outside Venice). The annual alternative, creative and retrocomputing event is organized by Cloanto's Italian software development group and their friends. Last-Minute specials: It is still a great time for taking advantage of last-minute offers. Return flights from the UK and from Germany are shown to be available for under EUR 100.00. Rooms are confirmed available at the event hotel, at the special rate of EUR 44.00 per night. The weather forecast for the week-end indicates a slightly cloudy but otherwise sunny weather (no rain). individual Computers and yellowTAB: Jens Schönfeld (individual Computers) was the first guest to arrive. He will present the C-One, including the latest Schneider CPC, Turbo CPC, VIC-20 and C64 cores. He will also show us the MMC64 and other C64 add-ons (video playback and web browsing on C64, etc.), and the Catweasel MK4 controller (e.g. integration with Amiga Forever 2005). Furthermore, Christian Celona from yellowTAB will bring the latest updates on Zeta (the successor of BeOS), of which version 1.0 has just been released. (snx) [News message: 01.
