Golem: Microsoft Loses FAT Patent
»Public Patent Foundation of US Patents and Trademarks successful: The US Patent and Trademark Office has denied Microsoft a patent on the FAT file system because of the efforts of the Public Patent Foundation (PUBPAT). PUBPAT initiated a review of the patent in April 2004.«
