Instant Messaging: Further preview of version 1.5 of Jabberwocky
There is another preview of version 1.5 of the instant
messaging client Jabberwocky
available.
Jabber is an open XML protocol for a direct exchange of
messages. A connection to
other instant messengers like AIM, ICQ, MSN and Yahoo is
possible by using gateways.
The new version got a "Save" and a "SendFile" gadget within the
chat window as well as a "Save" gadget within the console
window. Furthermore some ARexx scripts were added which are
using the new features of the first preview.
The archive (58 KB) contains the
executables only and requires an existing Jabberwocky installation.
