Mercury News: Start-up's goal: run software on any chip The article is about the company "Transitive" which apparently has developed a very fast (70% native speed) and lightweight (600 KB) "on-the-fly" binary code translator which shall make it possible to run software on any processor architecture. Recently an unknown "big partner" is claimed to have been found, who apparently is pumping vast amounts of money into the company. (ps) (Translation: cb) [News message: 13.
