Back to the Roots: New games, a.o.t. Karate Kid 2 and scans With permission of the copyright owners, Back to the Roots puts up original Amiga games for download and furthermore offers freeware games, demos, musical pieces, scans of game packages etc. In the current newsletter, Back to the Roots are reporting about new items on the site. In particular, sports games have been added: "Now that the summer here is over, we have prepared a couple of sports events to test your physical shape. Get down to it: Arms and legs are being exercised with 'Shadow Fighter' and 'Karate Kid 2'. Thanks to 'Empire Soccer', football skills can be proven. If you want to show us how skilful you can handle a motorbike, 'Super Hang On' is just the thing. Btw, thanks to permission of Tynesoft, you can start in a whole lot of different disciplines with 'Summer Olympiad' and 'Buffalo Bill's Rodeo Games'. And to avoid the mind rusting in with all those muscle games, we have provided you with 'K240', 'Millenium 2.2' and lots of other games. Something really extraordinary awaits you with 'Exile'. Here you take on the identity of a fully trained astronaut. And for phasing out after all this sport the cute 'Tearaway Thomas' is presenting himself, with whom you will be faster on the way than with Sonic. This update also contains scans of mostly rare game packaging (e.g. Quik and Silva, or XR35), as well as two articles about the Amiga demo groups Ephidrena and Loonies! Games, demos, music and more. What else do you want? Just have a look into 'Back to the Roots'." (sd) (Translation: cb) [News message: 17. Nov. 2002, 23:02] [Comments: 0] [Send via e-mail] [Print version] [ASCII version] | ||
