Catweasel ISA Available Again Today, the first Catweasel ISA boards from the current production run have been shipped. Despite major supply problems we were able to keep delays within limits, the deadline was exceeded by less than a week. The stongly increased demand can now be fully satisfied. To keep the board producable in the year 2000, the "Y2K edition" recieved some cosmetic canges. The board looks different, but is fully software compatible with the 1996 model. It now fits better, and a protection against floppy cables attached in the wrong pin order has been added. With the Catweasel for the PC you can read Amiga disks as well as all other formats the Catweasel knows, and uses them in emulators. For exsample, the usual formats for all Amiga and C64 emulators are supported. Catweasel works with the usual PC disk drives, so you don't need "original" drives like the 1541 from the Commodore C64.
