- Andreas R. Kleinert by e-mail - On my WWW page (see
news_e.html), the latest version of the akDatatypes (v44.65 of the three most popular, and v44.8
of akNAIL) and the latest version of akMPEG2 (v4.01) are available. Download:
akJFIF-dt.lha
akJFIF-PPC.lha
akJFIF-WOS.lha
akPNG-dt.lha
akPNG-PPC.lha
akPNG-WOS.lha
akTIFF-dt.lha
akTIFF-PPC.lha
akTIFF-WOS.lha
akMPEG4.lha
If you want to run comparing benchmarks with other datatypes, please make the correct adjustments
for correct results - there are a minimum of three possibilities to run my PPC datatypes with
"PPC" kernels, and additionally if you disable / enable 24bit output, this affects results, too.
PicBench from Aminet, or PicBench.lha is
a good choice for speed benchmarks.
