Heise: Gateway sells Amiga "The legendary multimedia computer Amiga has a new owner, again. Computer manufacturer Gateway sells the rights on the name and all still existing hardware to the company Amino Development. Additionally, Amino gets the rights on all Internet domains around the Amiga, and currently held by Gateway. How much Gateway recieves for the package has so far not been disclosed by the two companies. The followers of the Amiga, which enjoys cult status among its fans, have gone through a rollercoaster of emotions in the years gone by: hope-filled announcements of a revival of the hardware platform have again and again been followed by cancellations."
