Phase5: G4 boards in first quarter 2000, with AGP-slot Sebastian Hübner writes: Today I got mail from Phase5: The G4 boards will be coming in first quarter 2000, and with an AGP slot on-board. The CyberVisionNG will therefore be based on NVidia, 3Dfx or ATI chips. Due to the standard slot, it will be possible to offer LinuxPPC as an alternative to QNX Neutrino OS. The delay is due to the unavailability of the Motorola MPC107 controller chip and delivery schedules for G4/400 MHz not being met (see also news of October 26th, 1999). Sadly there are no news on this subject on the Phase5 website. (ps) (ps) [News message: 06. Dec. 1999, 08:00] [Comments: 0] [Send via e-mail] [Print version] [ASCII version] | ||
