AmigaOS 4: First signs for Classic-version
On the website of Acube Systems there are first signs for the planned publication of the Classic-version of AmigaOS 4. Additional to an advertise over the full page which was published in three different Amiga magazines there is a (still empty) list with compatible hardware, too.
At ACube it is said of an "AmigaOS 4 for Amiga 3000 and 4000". An A1200-version "will be still announced", just like information to the prices.

AROS: IRC-client WookiChat 2.6b8 (beta)
James "jahc" Carroll has published an AROS-version of his MUI-based IRC-client Wookiechat. The archive only contains the program. Additionally you need the complete distribution of Wookiechat 2.5.
This first beta version still contains some minor problems:
- The window size changes if a "Tab" is closed
- Some windows have a transparent background. This bug should be fixed soon. Meanwhile the author recommends to set a background picture in the MUI preference for WookieChat for the seperate windows
- The lower edge of the main window partly cannot be seen
