Full version of RemoteDesktop for AmigaOS 4.1 users
Up to now purchasers of the Sam460-motherboards got a full version of RemoteDesktop-client on their AmigaOS-CD. Now this programm is also included in AmigaOS 4.1 Classic.
There are also plans to make the tool available to users of other AmigaOS 4.1 versions as soon as a new CD-Image will be provided with a forthcoming update.

AmigaOS 4: AmiUpdate 2.8
AmiUpdate is a simple package manager which informs users about updates of installed applications. The changes of version 2.8 are listed in the Release Notes.

AmigaOS 4.1 for PowerUp-Amigas soon available (Update)
According to Hyperion Entertainment under the title link, all components for the version of AmigaOS-4.1 for Amigas with BlizzardPPC or CyberstormPPC accelerator boards have been finished and will be available soon.
Features which are not included in AmigaOS 4.0:
- Intelligent Installer for PCI / Zorro with automatic AGA-Fallback support
- New classic styled Bootlogo and Backdrops
- Improved bootloader with large table MMU support
- Updated kernel offering increased stability in low memory conditions
- Support for virtual memory via harddisk paging
- ZororRAM and DKB 3128 support as memory pagers
- Improved (future proof) Mediator support with Radeon 9200 and 9250 using up to 256MB of video memory (correct voltage graphics card required)
- Support for PCI sound card (ESS SOLO-1 based cards)
- Warp3D hardware acceleration support for Radeon, Voodoo 3/4/5 and Cybervision / Blizzardvision PPC (stable beta version for Permedia2-based cards)
- DDC automatic monitor detection for Radeon and Voodoo 3
- Hardware compositing engine (Radeon only) with software fall-back
- Native FastATA driver support

According to a message from british dealer AmigaKit, who has been instrumental in funding the PowerUp version of the operating system, they will start advertising the update in their webstore in about nine days. Meanwhile they are inviting further Amiga dealers to order AmigaOS 4.1 for Commodore Amiga computers from AmigaKit. (snx) (Translation: dr)

Snapshoter 1.4.9b
Snapshoter - a Hollywood based programm for all Amiga systems and Windows for recording screen pictures - is available in version 1.4.
Changes:
- Fixed bug in copyclipboard routine
- Added Cecilia FX icons
- Added new powerful image composer
- Gradients, solids, outlines, primitives, text or arrows, easy intuitive and fast environment
- Swap layers up and down, keep ratios, browse layers, auto import to collage mode directly clicking over the snapshoter bar, crop and cut images over the compositions and paste again, gradient paint effect

Updated overview: Registered Amiga trade marks
On Aminet Christoph Gutjahr has published version 1.1 of a list of all Amiga related trade marks sold in USA and Europe.
Additional to fixes of typing errors, Cloanto which is official owner of the US-trade mark "Amiga Forever" and "Workbench" was added to the list.

Print magazine: Amiga Future, issue 90
The German and English issue 90 (May/June 2011) of the magazine Amiga Future has been published today. This issue offers among others a interview with Cloanto, tests on iBatch, BetterWB and AmigaAMP as well as an iBatch-workshop.
