Amiga archiving: Huge collection of "Bamiga Sector One" is saved
According to Jason Scott (Internet Archive), the complete disk collection of a former member of the Belgian scene group "Bamiga Sector One" recently was taken over by an active Amiga fan. The collection has approximately over 10.000 disks and is saved on disk images step by step. All users involved in this initiative hope to find some rare releases on the disks.

Hollywood: Special offer to celebrate 2018
Press release: To celebrate the new year Airsoft Softwair are now officially the hardest DISCOUNTING men in code business because for a short time only Hollywood is now available for each platform individually for just half the price. This offer is very interesting for people who only want the Amiga version of Hollywood, for example. They can now buy Hollywood just for the Amiga platform (which includes native versions for AmigaOS 3, AmigaOS 4, MorphOS, AROS, and WarpOS) for just 49 euros instead of 99 euros which is a saving of 50%! The same is true for people who only want the Linux, Mac OS, or Windows version of Hollywood. Single-platform licenses are now only 49 euros for a short time! People who want Hollywood for all platforms can still buy the all-round version for all platforms for 99 euros of course.
Note that the single-platform versions of Hollywood still support compiling for all platforms supported by Hollywood, so even if you only buy Hollywood for Amiga, you can still compile for all other platforms including Linux, Mac OS, and Windows as well!

Rare prototype: Commodore Amiga CD 1200
The CD 1200 not only should provide an external CD-ROM drive for the A1200, but also compatibility with Commodore's game console CD32. The drive would have been connected with a plug-in card for the trapdoor slot of the A1200 which among others had contained the CD32 chip "Akiko".
One of the rare prototypes for the CD1200 obviously was found in an old barn and was given to the Retro Computer Museum in Leicester (amiga-news.de reported). The staff member Andy Spencer has introduced the prototype in a Youtube interview with the "Centre for Computing History".
