`26.Jul.2001` Amiga-Active, English Amiga Magazine (ANF)	Amiga Active: New Amiga emulator for PC's I just received the new "Amiga Active" reading about a new Amiga emulator for PC's using neither Windows nor Linux as it's OS base, but a not mentioned OS "which is not unalike the AmigaOS". This emulator was tested by the editors on an 1.2 GHz Atholon, and is said to easily outshine everything, even the UAE JIT. It reaches multiple of the speed of the UAE and even of the speed of an 68060/50. Contrary to the UAE the AA emulation still doesn't work, thus one must widely abstain from games. But programs like Frogger or even Quake gave results embarrassing the performance of the PPC versions. The emulator reached their office near shutdown, name and programmer still are secret.
