Windows: PPViewer 1.0 to show files packed with PowerPacker

Edgar Schwan makes a further application for his X11 environment Cygnix available: GQView 2.1.5 is an image viewer that makes it easy to navigate through a great number of images. Pictures can be shown fullscreen or as slideshow, they can be copied, moved, renamed and deleted. Context menus make it easy to use the program. A search function that can compare images content is available, too.

Jay Glenn Miner would have been 75 years old today
Jay Glenn Miner, the originator of the Amiga, would have been 75 years old today.
Miner was born in May 31, 1932 in Prescott, Arizona. He was the head of the original Amiga developer team and cofounder of Amiga Corp. in Los Gatos. Jay Glenn Miner passed away in June 20, 1994 in
Mountain View, California, because of kidney failure.

The issue 66 has been released recently and is available in our online shop. Just now we work hard on issue 67.
No. 67 will be the first Amiga Future issue being published in German and English.

VNC-Client: TwinVNC 0.8beta
Already on 9th of April the beta version 0.8 of TwinVNC was completed. TwinVNC is a Giftware-client for the Virtual Network Computing-protocol.

Stockholm: Medley of classical games music
On 2. June 2007 a Commodore Amiga-medley has its premiere in Stockholm. For this Jan Zottmann has arranged the music of some game classics for orchestra and choirs. There is a C64-medley during the "Play!"-concert, too.
The Commodore Amiga-medley contains compositions of Allister Brimble (Alienbreed), Richard Joseph (James Pond 2), Olof Gustafsson (Pinball Fantasies), Matthias Steinwachs (Lionheart), Brian Johnston and Tim Wright (Lemmings) as well as Chris Huelsbeck (Turrican 2).
