Print magazine: Amiga Future 138 - preview and excerpts / vacation
A preview and excerpts of issue 138 (May/June 2019) of the Amiga Future have been released today. Among other things, this issue features a report about the Amiga Ireland Meetup 2019, the first part of an ARexx workshop and an interview with Frank Wille.
Please note that from 6th until 29th May the editors of the Amiga Furure are on vacation - orders (also of downloads) will be processed afterwards.

AROS: Distribution Icaros Desktop 2.2.7
Paolo Besser has released an update of his AROS distribution Icaros Desktop. Additional to some bug fixes among others a VMware-SVGA driver (still not completed) was added (can be activated after the installation, see title link), a PCX datatype, the program ViewLHA as well as the games Digger and HydraCastle.

Lawsuit: Court order denying motion to enjoin C-A Acquisition Corporation
After the failed registration of the trademark "Workbench" in the EU and the denied motion for preliminary injunction against the sale of AmigaOS 3.1.4, Cloanto has to deal with the third setback in a row: the court has denied enjoining C-A Acquisition Corporation as plaintiffs (PDF file).

Point'n click adventure: CPC port "Athanor 2" in progress
"Athanor 2 - The Legend Of The Birdmen" is a point'n click adventure which originally was developed for the Amstrad CPC. Currently ports for Atari-ST and Amiga are in progress (video of ST port).

MorphOS: E-mail client Iris, beta version 54
"Iris" is supposed to become the standard mail program for MorphOS. It supports IMAP and can read and create HTML mails. The program requires MorphOS 3.10. You can give feedback to the author using the corresponding discussion on MorphZone.

Shoot'em Up: Port of "Kobo Deluxe"
Artur Jarosik has ported the shooter Kobo Deluxe (screenshot) to AmigaOS 3. At least an Amiga with 68060 processor and graphic board are required, a Vampire is recommended.

Lawsuit: Court denies Cloanto's motion for preliminary injunction
In the lawsuit between Cloanto and Hyperion yesterday the court has denied the motion for preliminary injunction against the sale of AmigaOS 3.1.4 (PDF file). After the futile attempt of registering the trademark "Workbench" also in the EU, this is the second setback for Cloanto in a row.
The court found that Cloanto could not provide sufficient evidence for the claimed irreparable harm. This decision does not affect the judgment of the principal proceedings: Was the sale of AmigaOS 3.1.4 lawful?
