WHDLoad: New installers until 26.01.2019
Using WHDLoad, you can install games, scene demos and intros from cracking groups to your harddisk that were only working from floppy disks previously. The following installers have been added until January 26th, 2019:

Elfie - The Unicorn: Easy-peasy edition
Christian Giesing's "Elfie - The Unicorn" is a jump-and-run game which the author has written for his daughters using Backbone (amiga-news.de reported). Since for some of the kids the game was still too difficult, an additional version with the following changes has been released:
- removed jump traps
- defused difficult jumps
- inserted "infinite" (50) lives
Little technical news:
- runs on Amiga 500/600 7 Mhz with Kick 2.04 and 1MB chip (but 14 Mhz are recommended)
- Fast RAM detection (from 2 MB Fast RAM onwards, the data is cached into the fast Fast RAM - disk recharging times during playing are therefore no longer necessary
- Gamepad support added eg. CD32 Gamepad (yellow shoot, blue jump)

MorphOS: Screenbar moduls CPUGraph, DimScreen, MouseTracker
#amigazeux has released a new screenbar module and two commodities for MorphOS: CPUGraph provides a realtime kinetic graphical representation of CPU utilisation on your titlebar, DimScreen will dim your screen to a settable percentage of its original brightness and MouseTracker records Mouse movements and clicks and can display them as realtime overlay.

Retro 7-bit: CDTV extension Wicher 508 announced

The PDF magazine REV'n'GE ("Retro Emulator Vision and Game") is available in Italian as well as in an English-language translation. REV'n'GE compares and reviews games on vintage computers.
Among others the latest issue includes articles about the Amiga games "Dawn Patrol", "Obitus", "Sinbad and the Throne of the Falcon" and "Targhan".

MorphOS: E-Mail client Iris, beta version 45
Jacek 'jacadcaps' Piszczeks "Iris" is supposed to become the standard mail program for MorphOS. It supports IMAP and can read and create HTML mails. The program requires MorphOS 3.10. You can give feedback to the author using the corresponding discussion on MorphZone.
The latest beta version fixes a bug "where Iris would send an email without contents if editing in html mode and some other html view was opened while editing." Besides, the toolbar was tweaked "to avoid inflating the size of the folders column."

Emulator: UAE4ALL2 for Nintendos Switch
For some time for Nintendo's video game console Switch a port of the Amiga emulator UAE4All2 is available. If you are going to install the emulator you first have to change the software setup of your console: But this is only possible for consoles sold before summer of 2018 - and there it can cause problems with the online function.

The Amiga Games List maintained by David 'Daff' Brunet since April 1991 was updated with its 48th edition published on 14th January. Among other news and corrections, all games released or updated in 2018 have been added. Thus the total number reached 12,904 entries as follows:
- 12,334 games
- 327 extensions or data discs
- 145 game or level editors
- 98 interpreters
Amiga Games List is said to be the most comprehensive listing of its kind on the internet. (snx)
