WHDLoad: New installers until 01.06.2019
Using WHDLoad, you can install games, scene demos and intros from cracking groups to your harddisk that were only working from floppy disks previously. The following installers have been added until June 1st, 2019:
- 2019-05-31 fixed: Super Stardust (Bloodhouse) soundFx in game were trashed if intro was not skipped immediately, more options for trainers added (Info)
- 2019-05-31 fixed: Putty Squad (System 3) flicker background bug introduced with joypad support is fixed now (Info, Image)
- 2019-05-31 fixed: Falcon (Spectrum HoloByte) slave removes the disk protection in SPS 268 Mission Disk I, supports SPS 1602 Mission Disk II (Info)
- 2019-05-27 improved: Deliverance (21st Century) joypad support added, trainer moved to splash window (Info, Image)

Amiga Demo Launcher v1.6b
The demo group Resistance presents their first public (beta) version of the Amiga Demo Launcher.
Amiga Demo Launcher (ADL) is an application to replay executable file demos from a playback queue.
Some featues:
- Replays many old OCS file demos on an AGA Amiga with a 68060 CPU
- Single playback queue entries can be also created directly
- Supports a reset device which is connected at the serial port of your Amiga, it counts down a given playtime and does a hardware reset if it reached the end value. After that, the next demo will be fetched out of the playback queue and get played

Using Amiga disks on PC: ADF-Copy 1.010 and ADF-Drive firmware 1.010
Using the USB adapter ADF-Drive and the corresponding copy program ADF-Copy you can read Amiga disks with a PC drive under Windows, Linux or on the Raspberry Pi
(amiga-news.de reported).
Version 1.010 provides the option of deleting a disk image by complete overwriting. Besdies, the speed of all write operation was increased. The latest and also updated ADF-Drive firmware 1.010 is required.

"Officially licensed" Commodore jerseys on Amazon
On Amazon, "Score Draw" offers retro jerseys of German soccer clubs, among others also red and white jerseys with "Commodore" logo. In contrast to jerseys of other teams, these are not complete copies of the original jerseys: on the "official Commodore retro jerseys from 1986" (product description of the producer) the logo and the name of the corresponding club are missing - the FC Bayern München is not mentioned even in the article description.
Obviously the license for the brand of the Munich team would have been to expensive - since Score Draw does promoting his article as "officially licensed" it is probable that he reached an agreement with the owner of the Commodore brand rights. What the original Bayern jersey looked like you can see on the website of the Trikot-Museum.

Game: Reshoot R released
Press release: Bombs away for Reshoot R - Modern action for the retro platform Amiga
Pürge/Übersee, May 28th, 2019: The development studio spieleschreiber and the publisher APC&TCP today announce the availability of the retro action game Reshoot R.
After almost three years of development, Reshoot R finally lights up its laser cannons - as you'd expect, for original Amiga hardware. The horizontal scrolling shoot'em up, in the style of classics like "R-Type", throws the player into an exciting space battle. In five elaborately designed themed worlds, fighter pilots fight side-by-side with the courageous space heroine Aryn against the attacks of the evil Tars species.
The action remains faithful to arcade traditions to combine elaborate high-end visuals with high-speed, demanding challenges. Fast gameplay, breathless dynamics, and exciting tension peaks characterise the fight between the heroine and the ballet of attack waves. Extra weapons and power-ups support her in her fight for survival. If your battle is fought successfully, eternal glory awaits you in the automatically saved highscore list. In addition, there is a premiere for Amiga action games: Those pilots can enter their performance on an internet ranking website and so they can compare their skills against those of other gamers.
Reshoot R is initially available as three seperate releases: Download Edition, Pure Edition and Signature Edition. The Pure Edition includes the game on CD-ROM and a printed manual. The Signature Edition has the game on CD-ROM, with a printed manual including a making-of special and the soundtrack on a separate audio CD. The audio CD soundtrack is also available separately.

Version 8 of Hollywood plugin for Vim released
Tom Crecelius has updated the Hollywood plugin for the text editor Vim: Version 8.0 is available now supporting the latest Hollywood version. For users of AmigaOS it is interesting to know that the plugin also works with the MUI version of Vim funktioniert. Memory expansion: OpenAmiga600FastRamExpansion

Indivdual Computers: Buddha-Flash-Firmware 52.101 / Ordering new controllers
Individual Computers has released a firmware update for the IDE controller Buddha Flash. Version 52.101 fixes two bugs both occuring when "crossing a 32-bit boundary under certain conditions". According to Jens Schönfeld "a very similar bug is in the IDE drivers of Amiga OS 3.1.4" which might be based on previous versions. The developer team of Hyperion has been informed.
Additionally new controllers ("Anniversary Edition") will be produced and are supposed to be available not later than by mid June. Pre-orders are possible.

Lawsuit: Cloanto is not entitled to sue
After three previous setbacks, Cloanto again had to face a defeat in court in the legal dispute with Hyperion. According to the order of the court from 16th May (PDF file, 129 KB), Cloanto is not entitled to sue against Hyperion based on the Settlement Agreement from 2009.
Only with regard to the registration of Amiga trademarks in Europe by Hyperion, Cloanto was successful: Since Hyperion only is allowed to use certain Amiga trademarks by the Settlement Agreement worldwide, according to the court the usage of further Amiga trademarks could be understood as infringement of the Settlement Agreement.
