WHDLoad: New installers until 20.07.2019
Using WHDLoad, you can install games, scene demos and intros from cracking groups to your harddisk that were only working from floppy disks previously. The following installers have been added until July 20th, 2019:

Interview: Mark Ritter (Workbench Explorer)
Under the title link the US-American online merchant Amiga On The Lake has published an interview with Mark Ritter who is the author of the AmigaOS-4 file browser Workbench Explorer and of the InfoData.gadget class which is part of the Enhancer software.
In the interview the developer has announced an text editor for programmers called struct which will be not an entire IDE but "fast and sleek".
Furthermore he complained about "the lack of development from Hyperion". He wrote: "I submitted a bug report for the listbrowser.gadget class over two years ago. It was fixed right away. But it still has not been released to the public. It makes WEx look bad, but I can't do anything about it. Driving me nuts. Release it!"

Event: AmiWest 2019
This year's 22th AmiWest in Sacramento (California) will take place from 23. to 27. October in the hotel Holiday Inn Express (reservations information). Among the exhibitors are A-EON Technology, AmigaKit and Amiga On The Lake (AOTL). By the financial support of AOTL the traditional developer conference will be free of charge. As usual it will be chaired by Exec-SG-Team-Lead Steven Solie.

Web browser: NetSurf 3.9 (ReAction)
The web browser Netsurf - and also Chris Young's ReAction-based Amiga port (not to be confused with the SDL version) - now is available as version 3.9. The (cross-platform) changes includes among others CSS-Media-Queries (level 4) and improvements for JavaScript handling.
The port for AmigaOS 4 is available on the official download site. The test build for AmigaOS 3.5+ is available on Aminet.

AROS: Distribution AROS One 1.1 for 68k and x86
AROS One is a personal distribution of AROS-x86-ABIv0 based on the Nightly Builds which has a self-made drawer icon set and the Wanderer configured in AfA-OS style. AROS One consists of the ISO image of a live-CD, a video demonstrates the installation on a virtual harddrive. If you want to use a real computer instead of a virtual machine, you have to configure the network card.

AROS: Distribution Icaros Desktop 2.2.8

Belgian Amiga Club: Fotographs of Amiga 1200+
Under the title link Jeroen Vandezande has documented his upgraded replica of an Amiga-1200 board which he will also present at the Amiga 34 in Neuss taking place in October. Instead of a PCMCIA port the Amiga 1200+ has a MicroSD card port and is open source.

Event: Report and videos of AmigaOS 4 NorthEast Get-Together 2019

Event: Apollo team at Gamescom 2019 (Germany)
Additional to APC&TCP this year also the Apollo team will have their own stand at the Gamescom in Cologne (Germany). The developers of the FPGA core of the Vampire accelerator boards will be present from 21. to 24. August in Hall 10.

Shooter: Shogo - Mobile Armor Divison 1.9
For Hyperion's port of the first-person shooter "Shogo: Mobile Armor Division" another update has been released:
- Added: Screenshots can now be taken with the F8 key. (PNG, if installed png.datatype supports saving, otherwise IFF)
- Added: The Shogo Launcher and Multiplayer GUI has now catalog support
- Added: Shogo, the launcher and the guide are now translated to German and Italian. (Thanks to Helmut Haake and Samir Hawamdeh for their work)
- Added: The screenblanker is now be deactivated while the game is running
- Added: Intro with much better quality
- Fixed: Minor bugfixes in the Shogo launcher and the game itself
Registered customers can get the update for free in the download section of Hyperion's website.

Hyperion Entertainment: Update to AmigaOS 3.1.4 released
Press release: Brussels, July 8, 2019 - Hyperion Entertainment CVBA is pleased to announced the immediate availability of AmigaOS 3.1.4.1 as a free update to AmigaOS 3.1.4 released in September 2018.
Since then, some bugs were found and functionality reviewed. We are therefore providing updates that address those issues in order to improve the user experience and also added more workarounds to improve compatibility with some oddly behaving programs.
This is mainly a bugfix update to AmigaOS 3.1.4, however a few small features managed to slip-in:
- Danish (dansk) and swedish (svenska) AmigaOS catalogs
- Setpatch now has the ability to load both an audio.device and a Shell-Seg update by itself
- Audio.device got improved compatibility with some non-standard programming practices
- HDToolBox now suggests more adequate block sizes for large drives
- CrossDOS is now more tolerant to wrongly configured mountlists and foreign character sets
Of course, we managed to address many more bug fixes. The change log is more than 260K large and covers components such as the CDFileSystem, the new intution support, audio device, disk support (Format, FastFileSystem and HDToolBox), the Shell, several AmigaDOS commands, DiskDoctor, and many more components.
AmigaOS 3.1.4.1 is available as free download from the restricted download area to all registered customers of AmigaOS 3.1.4.

Hyperion Entertainment: capital increase
According to an update published in Belgium's official company publication, Hyperion issued a significant number of new shares. As detailed in a notary's statement dated June 20th, 2019, when approving the annual financial statement dated December 30th, 2018 and exonerating the directors afterwards, the shareholders decided to go for a capital increase in return for stock.
This capital increase consists of 398.970 Euro, of which 397.110 Euro are from Ben Hermans and 1.860 Euro from Timothy De Groote. In return, the two investors are granted 2135 (Hermans) and 10 (De Groote) newly issued Hyperion shares, which reduces the percental ownership of the other shareholders accordingly: Hyperion's capital stock was raised from 18.600 Euro to 417.570 Euro - previously all shareholders combined, including Ben Hermans and Timothy De Groote, owned 100 shares, now there are 2245 shares of which Ben Hermans owns at least 2135.
