System Information: MorphOS Exec Monitor
The developer group #AmigaZeux has released a new system information program for MorphOS ("press release").
Besides evident properties like processor load or memory usage, for instance, the "MorphOS Exec Monitor" (MEM) also features complete skin support (screenshot). A skin editor is enclosed.

AmigaOS 4: AOrganiser 0.4
Andy Broad provides with AOrganiser a PIM (personal information management) tool which is inspired by
the Organiser of Digita. Version 0.4 includes most schedule functions now and works stable, but there a still some minor graphic errors at the
user interface and there is no addressbook available yet.

Amiga Inc.: cooperation with the Seattle Thunderbirds
Amiga Inc. announces their cooperation with the "Seattle Thunderbirds" at the title link: Fans of that ice hockey team
will get access to "many games, puzzles and arcade titles for personal computer, game maschines, mobil phones, set top boxes
and other computer based devices".
The according software is said to be demonstrated and available for purchase at the first home game of the Thunderbirds at the end of the month.
Amiga Inc. will appear as sponsor at several promotion actions of the Thunderbirds, e.g. at the official team poster.

Speedball 2 and The Chaos Engine get successors
The Berlin publisher Frogster Interactive announced that the company have bought the worldwide rights of the
Bitmap Brother classics Speedball 2 and The Chaos Engine. PC versions of both games will be available in 2007. The Bitmap Brothers participates on this project, too.

PowerPoint-viewer: PointRider 0.20 incl Hollywood-Support
PointRider is a powerPoint-viewer for AmigaOS 4 and MorphOS. The
compatibility of the newest Beta-Version was improved, beside the
archive includes now a converting tool for PowerPoint files to do
a import into the multimedia-tool Hollywood-Designer.

MorphOS: Freespace - The Great War / Update to Freespace 2
Under the title link, Michal 'kiero' Wozniak has released a MorphOS port of "Freespace: The Great War" as well as an update to Freespace 2.
Among other things, the update offers a better video playback as well as an improved high-resolution mode. To activate the latter, you must enter "Videocard=OpenGL (1024x768)" in the .ini file.
The MorphOS version of "Freespace: The Great War" requires MorphOS 1.4.x, 3D drivers and the powersdl.library by Ilkka Lehtoranta. Though 256 MB RAM should suffice in the author's opinion, he cannot guarantee that everything already runs properly with it. A Radeon graphics card is strongly recommended.
Network games are not available in the existing version. Moreover, only the "Silent Threat" mod was tested.
For the installation, you need the 2 CD version of the game (the English and the Polish versions were tested). Afterwards, copy the files of the MorphOS archive to the desired directory and start the installation script.
In principle, the port works with the Amiga version of Freespace as well, however, the films here were converted to another format, so that these are not played back. (snx) (Translation: cad)
