Linux: Kernel 3.13.1 for Sam440ep and AmigaOne X1000
The Linux-Kernel 3.13.1 now is available for AmigaOne X1000 and Sam440ep Flex. The TUN/TAP kernel module for using the network by AROS (hosted) on the X1000 was added and problems with the ATI-Radeon-92xx-boards using the Sam-board were fixed.

AROS: Circles of Harmony 1.05

AmigaOS 4 / MorphOS: Screen magnifiers ZDR 53.11 and ZoomIT.pobj 1.2
For AmigaOS 4 the screen magnifier ZDR was updated, which uses the Compositing Engine, and for MorphOS the Ambient-Panel-Object ZoomIT.pobj. Both versions are bug fix releases.

Controlling Arduino systems: Hollywood LCARS Connect
Achim Kern is working on a Hollywood programm for controlling Arduino systems (video). It can be communicated with the Arduino Yun, the pcDuino and the Iteaduino as well as with the Raspberry Pi.
The system can access connected sensors, e.g. for humidity, temperature, light or motion and process these values or sned them to a website. Additionally the individual pins and thus e.g. relais of devices can be connected.
The Philips Hue Light system was recently added. The software can access the bridge and turn on or off all available lamps and can choose the colours. The motion detector also is connected with the Light System. If an intruder is noticed, an alert ("Red Alert") alarm is triggered.
According to the author, Hollywood LCARS Connect is still in progress. A beta version for connecting the Amiga to the Yun-Board and the Hue-System is planned. For combining hardware and software,he has to write an tutorial because it is very complex.

AmigaOS 4: SMTube 1.8.5999
With the QT-based SMTube you can search, play and download YouTube videos. The AmigaOS-4-port now is part of the official version management of the project. Among others SMTube 1.8.5999 provides updated translations.

MorphOS: Wifi_list 1.1

AmigaOS 4: ShowFiles 0.941
ShowFiles is a command line programm for AmigaOS 4 which sorts the content of a directory and provides them formatted. Soft-/Hard-Links, file size, date, comment, Executable-Header-Type and guard bits are displayed. The changes are listed under the title link.

Screenshot-Utility: SnapIt 1.3 for AmigaOS 4, MorphOS and AROS
The author describes SnapIt as "powerful screengrabber". Changes in version 1.3:
- Double buffered preview mode -> less flicker when scaling the window...
- Added an adjustable vertical bar to allow the GUI to predominantly be Screen/Window gadget list or Preview =)
- Hotkey support (screen, window and free grab)
- Fetch active window (via AREXX command) - grabactivewindow
- Clicking on the preview image results in a new window with the unscaled image data as a preview
- The position of the window list is now kept intact after a screen grab
- Added "Save image as..." menu option
- Cancel button in Settings actually works now =)
- Small GUI adjustments (removed the option for Lasso Colour and more)

AmigaOS 4: Audio-Player AmigaAMP 3.13
Thomas Wenzel has updated his music play programm AmigaAMP. In version 3.13 several minor bugs were fixed:
- Fixed some more playlist/directory handling bugs
- Fixed cover drawing and uniconifying of tag editor window
- Added pattern matching filter to modplug loader
- "Autoplay file" now also works for dragging files on the playlist window
- Dragging directories on AmigaAMP's AmiDock icon now works
- Switched play list handling to saving and loading WinAMP style .pls files
- Revised window depth arrangement and alignment code
- Updated WinAMP5 skin
- Use mouse wheel in equalizer window to move sliders
- Fixed clearing of comment field when opening MP3 file without comment
- Fixed format display in main ReAction window
- Fixed initial playlist display in ReAction window
- Renamed info win to just "Info" because it can't edit tags any more
Important: This new version doesn't load plain text files as playlists any more when using the normal Eject/Open/Drag'n'drop functions. I've you've built your own playlists and want to continue using them then load them via Load List in the playlist window and save them again. They will be automatically converted.
This is to prevent the following bug: If under AmigaAMP 3.12 and earlier a complete directory with all files in it was opened, and a text file is there as well, by mistake it is loaded as playlist. This causes much trouble. In the latest version this cannot happen any longer.

Linux: Kernel 3.10.0 for Eyetech AmigaOne, Sam460 support canceled (update)
Users of an Eyetech AmigaOne can also access a Linux-Kernel: Already in August on Sourceforge a port of Linux 3.10.0 for the AmigaOne XE with G3 or G4CPU was released.
Now 'Spectre660', who was responsible for adapting the kernels to Sam460, stated that he will not continue that. Obviously his Sam460 is damaged and because furthermore some AmigaOS4-users in the official Hyperion forum are angry about the many Linux-News, he is lacking in motivation to keep on investing time or money for the Linux support.

Virtual Amiga Multimedia Player 1.08
Version 1.08 of the Hollywood-based multimedia play programm V.A.M.P. (Virtual Amiga Multimedia Player) was released for AmigaOS, AmigaOS 4, MorphOS and WarpOS as well as Windows: The programm now can specify the played images per second. Additionally some minor bugs were fixed.

X-bEnCH is a graphical user-interface with up to 272 colours (AGA; 128 on OCS/ECS-computers) which can replace the Workbench for launching WHDLoad-games and other applications and requires low hardware resources. If you want to help to provide translations for the eMail-programm YAM then you can find a tutorial under the title link for that.
There you can find a translation in the source code - offered as PO and no longer as Amiga catalog format .ct - as well as the more simple way by using the free Transifex. You can also support translating online documents.
