`05.Jan.2005`	Software News until January the 5th 2005 BenderIRC 1.5b13 The latest version of the IRC client BenderIRC includes the following changes: OpenURL - Plugin ... you requested it now use it :) Version string fixed ARexx-Plugin has been updated to a full working ARexx port Every BenderIRC command like /DCCSEND user file has been adapted in ARexx The OpenURL plugin "fishes" links from the IRC datastream and passes it to a table, in which every link is openable by click with your preferred browser. Download: dgen68k.zip (254 KB) Hatari 0.50 "Hatari" is an Atari ST emulator using the SDL library. Hatari supports all TOS versionen, offers limited GEM support and can mount directories of the host computer or emulate a hard disk via disk image. The tool uses ReAction/GadTools, requires AmigaOS 3.9 and offers ten different functions. Download: ReportPlus.lha (306 KB) BACK-IT-ALL-UP 10.1 With Back-It-All-Up it is possible to create back ups of a hard disk. The software supports up to eight partitions and drives with more than 4 GB, offers several features and might be run on the Workbench or on its own screen. `05.Jan.2005` MorphZone (website)	Meridian 2.0 for AmigaOS 3.x and MorphOS released Guido Mersmann has released version 2.0 of Meridian, a commodity, that allows, like a PDA with writing recognition, the use of virtual hotkeys for e.g. calling programs. Because start point and direction of a mouse movement are taken into account there are close to infinite combinations which are freely useable. With Meridian it is possible to cycle through screens and windows, to close windows, to cancel requesters, to start programs or start actions by moving the mouse only. That all without visual interface or pop-up menu or dock - only the mouse pointer on the screen. `05.Jan.2005` MorphZone (website)	MorphOS: Version 1.9.7 of the Free Pascal compiler released The Free Pascal compiler for MorphOS is now up to the latest CVS again with the release of version 1.9.7. The most significant improvement is the support for libraries by using the SysV ABI. Now programs written in Pascal may use TinyGL or PowerSDL. `01.Jan.2005` MorphOS-News.de (website)	MorphOS: ScummVM 0.7.0 and SeventhSense 0.14a released Grzegorz Kraszewski released version 0.14a of SeventhSense. The update of this detector for changes of websites became necessary as the previous version stopped working after the installation of the datatype replacement MOSMedia. There are no further improvements. Also updated was ScummVM, the interpreter for the SCUMM games by LucasArts. The MorphOS version 0.7.0 done by Fabien Coeurjoly uses PowerSDL. `30.Dec.2004` Bernd Roesch (ANF)	WinUAE: New Online Help Under the title link you'll find the new online help for WinUAE. The data "winuae.chm" must be placed in the same directory as "WinUAE.exe." Then it can be called with the help button in the WinUAE GUI. The new online help goes completely on the new WinUAE, including a few screenshots. Whoever uses UAE for more than games can find some tips for the usage of the emulator under "Tips->Hints for Powerusers" and now the description of the referenced program is also complete. `30.Dec.2004`	Software News Through 29th December, 2004 vbcc 0.8g patch 3 Another update for the C-compiler vbcc 0.8g has been released. The following problems have been solved: The minimal startup code from vbcc_target_m68k-amigaos, minstart.o, didn't work with latest vlink. New OS3.5 functions for workbench.library and icon.librarary were missing. English and Spanish language versions exist, of course users can assemble their own translations and are called upon to let the author know.
