Adventure-Creator: Inga as free download
Inga is an adventure engine with complete developer tools with which you can create "Point'n Click Adventures" like "Monkey Island". Inga has the following features:
  • 640x480 pixels with 256 colours
  • Fast "Chunky"-graphics, specially developed for CybergraphX (compatible with Picasso96)
  • Playing Audio-CDs or OctaMED-songs (with medplayer.library)
  • Sound over AHI
  • Very flexible because of a seperate script language

The development of Inga was stoped. Therefore the program can be downloaded from the developer site for free. (cg) (Translation: dr)

AROS for AmigaOS: Bugfixes for AfA 4.3
Bernd Rösch's "AROS für AmigaOS" (AfA) is a port of single AROS-components to AmigaOS.

Because with the last published update AfA 4.3 the menu was not correctly displayed at screens with 8-Bit (or lower), the author has published an update of the graphics.library.

There is a similar bug at 16 or 24-Bit screens. This is fixed by the installation of a reworked intuition.library.

Web-Browser: OWB 1.4 for AmigaOS 3
Jörg Strohmayer has published an update of his port of the Web-browser OWB. Please note that this port includes the older "Blastoise"-version of OWB. Additionally the OS3-version requires at least an (emulated) 68k-CPU with 500 Mhz. There are several limitations and the version requires several external components (GeekGadgets, ixemul.library etc.). You can get further information in the readme.

Changes in version 1.4:
  • Didn't exit after printing the error message if Picasso96API.library is missing, fixed
  • Fixed wrong CPU and FPU checks
  • Speed up text rendering
  • Added support for an unicode fallback font since even for exapmple for greek the AmigaOS 3.x compugraphic fonts aren't enough. It's not configurable yet, the name has to be "Bitstream Cyberbit". If you use ttf.library make sure you do NOT use ttfcodepage nor a font specific codepage (other than ISO-8859-1)
  • Ported Andrea's ARexx port to AmigaOS 3.9 (hostname: OWB, commands: OPENURL "url", STOP, GOBACK, GOFORWARD)

BackUp is a program for AmigaOS/68k which requires AmigaOS 2.04. With it you can make backups which includes the directory tree. The changes are listed in the readme file as well. (snx) (Translation: dr)
