Amiga emulator for macOS: vAmiga 4.0
Dirk Hoffmann has released the final version 4.0 (amiga-news.de reported) of his Amiga emulator "vAmiga" for macOS with the following changes:
Enhancements:
- LZ4 snapshot compression
- Improved gamepad detection
Fehlerbehebungen:
- ExtendedADF support was broken.
- Folder import was broken.
- vAmiga no longer boots from unbootable harddrives.
Both the executable and the source code are available for free download. (nba)

WHDLoad: New installers until 22.02.2025
Using WHDLoad, games, scene demos and intros by cracking groups, which were originally designed to run only from floppy disks, can be installed on harddisk. The following installers have been added until 22.02.2025:

Amiga emulator: Amiberry 7.0.5 and Amiberry-lite 5.8.6
Amiberry is an Amiga emulator based on the current WinUAE version, while its little brother Amiberry-lite is based on WinUAE 4.4 and is intended for slower hardware - up to the Raspberry Pi 4. Version 7.0.5 of Amiberry is now available, Amiberry-lite has arrived at version 5.8.6. (cg)

Action game: Amiga Yoomp! 1.08
Amiga Yoomp! is a conversion of an Atari 8-bit game from 2007. Version 1.08 has now been released, adding keyboard control (cursor keys, up/space bar to jump). In addition, the game can now be paused by pressing the P key, while the B key can be used to remove dithering until the next level starts. (nba)

HxC Floppy-Emulator: Software 2.16.11.1
The floppy emulator HxC by Jean-Francois Del Nero completely replaces the floppy drive (of an Amiga) with an electronic device. The project, which was launched in 2006, is available in two versions, with a SD card port or with USB port (amiga-news.de reported).
A new version of the HxC floppy emulator software has now been released. The changes:
- XML export/import
- Better multi-format tracks support.
- You can now specify/change the density/format for each individual sector with the tag.
In addition to the executable program, the source code is also available for free download. (nba)

MorphOS: Web browser Wayfarer 9.2
Jacek 'jacadcaps' Piszczek has published version 9.2 of his Wayfarer web browser for MorphOS, which fixes several endianness issues and updates libcURL, libsqlite and libxml2. (dr)
