Magazine: AMIGA aktuell 11/2002 released
The November issue of the free magazine AMIGA aktuell has just now been released and can be read online on the website of the distributors as well as it can be downloaded in the HTML respectively in the AmigaGuide format.

It contains among other things
  • a "small tools" special about the audio compression format "Ogg Vorbis",
  • the sixth and last part of an introduction in the ReAction programming,
  • a background article about data types and their recognition,
  • a workshop about programming a note book in PHP with mySQL,
  • a review of the German version of the graphics adventure "Aqua",
  • the most important news and press releases regarding Pegasos & MorphOS, AmigaOne & AmigaOS 4.0 and Amithlon,
  • a comment about the supposed quarrelsomeness of the Amiga community,
  • reports from the Amiga events in Graz and Grebenstein,
  • a note about the future proceeding with a lack of sent contributions,
  • and much more.

Peter Hutchison: New printer and Amiga error guides
Peter Hutchison has published two new guides on his home page.

'A Guide to Amiga Printer Drivers' contains information about installing printer drivers, a list of the various Workbench versions' printer drivers and descriptions of the Workbench preferences.

'Guide to AmigaOS Fail Codes, Errors and Guru Mediation Numbers' contains the Shell's error codes, the AmigaDOS error numbers as well as the numbers of the Guru Meditation messages. (sd) (Translation: cb)
