`19.Dec.2004` Carsten Siegner (ANF)	Non-Linear Video Editing System for MorphOS The archive "MSchnitt-Mos.lha" contains four programs that together comprise a non-linear video editing system. It's written fully in ARexx and requires the following programs be installed: ARexx MPlayer (>1.0) Mencoder ogmtools-1.4.1-morphos (ogmmerge) mkvtoolnix-0.9.1-morphos (mkvmerge) fxPAINT (2.0+) Features: Video edit Add new sound Convert video formats Sound processing Sound edit Merging of video clips to create a larger Video titling FX-effects Merging of sound clips to create a larger Encoding of single frames Decoding of single frames Support of multitrack videos in Ogg Mediastream or Matroska Media-Vision The following link points to a demo video illustrating features of the MSchnitt package: http://pegasossoft.de/Movie.avi (3 MB) A side effect of MSchnitt is the manipulation of multitrack videos. These are videos with more than one video or audio track. Here's a demo clip: http://pegasossoft.de/Movie_kopergeschuetzt.mkv (3 MB). These clips can only be played with the newest MPlayer version, because they make use of the Matroska format. Whoever has no knowledge of MPlayer will only see the copy-protected video, and not the other stuff. Unfortunately I haven't written any instructions, because that too would be a bit much for me. But whoever seriously wants to use the package can send me an e-mail and I'll write back right away. `18.Dec.2004` Steffen Nitz (ANF)	News regarding DKG II and the SN archives Today a new version of the coins data base SN-EuroArchiv was released. New in v1.8 are among other things an improved image support, slide and thumbnail show, the possibility to enter special coins and medals, that are part of currency coins sets, the support for the 2 Euro commemorative coin was improved, etc. All changes can be found in the history. As a special offer for Christmas are "Die kleine Gilde II" and all SN archives (SN-EuroArchiv, SN-BilderArchiv, SN-MarkenArchiv etc.) available for special prices at eBay. `18.Dec.2004` Robin (ANF)	Hollywood game: TriMa'gic Under the title link you can find a small Workbench game written with Hollywood by Robin Hueskes "similar to Logical but completely different".
