Hi

Auf der Seite http://www.versiontracker.com unter MAC OS X gibts ne erste Beta von UAE unter MAC OS X.
Es lief schon mal an, aber es fehlte das ROM und ne Disk in DF0:
Morgen Teste ich das ausfürlicher, muß erst mein ROM File auf ner CD suchen!

Mister Hammer,
da bin ich gespannt, bei mir habe ich nur das Problem
Diskettenlaufwerk hab ich nicht an meinem G4.

Auf den Rechner von AniED werde ich es probieren,
auf dem läuft OS X trotz der Phase 5 Karte G3 400 MHZ
in sehr guter Geschwindigkeit ebenfalls VTPC 4.2.
Bei Ihrem 7600 handelt es sich um die Hersteller Nr. 68
die haben noch einen extra Slot auf dem Board, für Entwickler für
ein extra Rom Modul vor 6 Jahren . Dieses Rom habe ich erhalten.

Nur für die Installation von OS X habe ich einige Stunden
und Nerven gebraucht.
Aber es klappt. Wichtig ist das die neu Orginal OSX 10.01
vorhanden ist mit der mitgelieferten von meinem G4 ging es nicht.
Nach dem ich OSX drauf hatte, konnte ich erst von OS 9.1 auf OS 9.2 updaten nicht vorher, ebenfalls nur mit der neuen OS 9.2.1.
Dabei haben mir die Info vom Bplan die ich auf der Messe in Köln erhalten habe geholfen.

Ich werde versuchen es dem Mac_Murphy auch vom A.U.C HB
auf seinem Rechner zu installieren.
Es müßte auch auf einem 4400/7200 gehen wenn die entsprechende G3 Karte drin ist und diese hat er.
Einen Versuch ist es wert.

Deine Mail habe ich gelesen.
Markus verstehe ich da was falsch.?
Ich brauche doch auf meinem ein Diskettenlaufwerk, wenn ich
AmigaDisketten verwenden will.
Deswegen will ich das auf dem Rechner von AniED probieren.
Der hat ein Disklaufwerk..

Key Mappings

1. Some special keys are used by Apple (e.g. Command-Option-Esc, F14&F15 on Notebooks)
2. Command-Q will Quit UAE, Command-H will Hide UAE (can someone tell me how to change that?)
3. All other Keys are used by UAE ( Mac -> UAE )
* Both Command Keys -> Right Amiga Key
* Both Option Keys -> Right Alt Key
* Both Shift Keys -> Right Shift Key
* F11 -> Left Amiga Key
* F12 -> Left Alt Key
* F13 -> Left Shift Key
* Enter on Notebooks -> Right Amiga Key
* Page Up -> Cursor Up & Left Shift Key
* Page Down -> Cursor Down & Left Shift Key
* Home -> Cursor Up & Left Alt Key
* End -> Cursor Down & Left Alt Key
* ALL other Keys are mapped to the corresponding Amiga Key

CD-ROM as part of Cloanto's Amiga Forever package, which includes Kickstart files up to v. 3.1 (the latest version).
This version of UAE emulates:

* A 68000, 68010 or 68020 CPU, optionally a 68881 FPU
* OCS, ECS and AGA Graphics Chipset(including sprite-playfield collisions
* Up to 2MB Chip RAM and up to 8MB Fast RAM, or 8MB Chip RAM without Fast RAM
* Up to 64MB Zorro III Fast RAM, independent of Chip RAM setting (68020 only)
* Up to 1MB Slow RAM, for extended compatibility with problem software
* Up to 8MB of graphics card memory, usable by software that supports
Picasso 96 compatible graphics cards
* 4 x 3.5" floppy disk drives (DF0:, DF1:, DF2: and DF3:). It's not possible to read Amiga disks, so these are emulated with disk files.
* A hard-disk: either a harddisk image file or part of the native filesystem
* Joystick support (with option of mapping joystick to numeric keypad)
* Mouse support
* Ability to run in various screen modes (for better display quality or better speed)
* Full stereo sound support, consisting of 4 x 8bit channels
* Beta parallel and serial port support
* some other things which don't work well enough to mention them here...
* state-saving. you can save the state of your emulated Amiga and continue later on.

There are some restrictions as well:

* The parallel port is not really implemented. Though it's sufficient for printing.

Parallel und Serial habe ich auf meinem G4 nicht mehr.
Mouse, Keyboard, usw. sind deshalb nicht untertsützt.

Oder verstehe ich das falsch.
ich werde es ab morgen an dem Rechner von AniED versuchen.
Falls Du mehr Erfahrungen gemacht hast, poste es hier, das bringt alle weiter.

@Otis: Normalerweise ist es UAE wurscht ob die Standard Tastatur vom System an USB oder sonstwo dran hängt. Das ist ein rein MAC Problem (oder auch nicht!)

Das mit den Disketten ist anders, aber das habe ich Dir ja schon gemailt.
Die version auf der CD müßte die alte UAE version sein, wenn ja dann vergiesses die ist voll Buggy und wird nicht weiterentwickelt. Außerdem nur fürs alte System.

Die X Version läuft ja mit meinem Kickrom einwandfrei, nur die ADF Files mag er noch nicht so recht.
