hello i'am locking for a info sheet for the Baseboard 4mb memory board for the amiga 500 i have put the board into myn amiga 500 the amiga bootup but get no memory from the basebaord card have any one got a install sheet about it thanks -- [15 x A500]-[2 x A500+]-[3 x A600] [4 x A1000]-[2 x A1200] [12 x A2000]-[1 x A2500] [1 x A2500UX]-[1 x A2500/30] [1 x A3000UX]-[2 x A3000T] [1 x A3500T]-[3 x A4000] [1 x A4000T]-[2 x CDTV]-[3 x CD32] [1 x MicroAmigaOne FX750] [ - Answer - Quote - Direct link - ] |

The baseboard is a two piece unit. The first part (top image) fits underneath the Gary chip (note CSG5719 Gary on the card). The second parts connected via a cable and sits in the trapdoor slot. The board which sits underneath the gary chips is necessary so that more than 512K of memory could be added via the trapdoor slot. The baseboards adds up to 4MB of additional memory. @DJBase: i have that the gary adapter with the clock backup and the trapdoor card but when i change the jumpers on the card and boot the amiga hi reset every time when i change the jumper it's along time agone that i use a 4mb ram board i have also the Eureka 4mb memory board for the 500 but thats the same problem it will not run on 4mb i have try the boards on many 500's that i here have get the card not to work,... maybe i have forgot something on the a500 mainboard thats the way that i try to get here a info sheet ot install sheet about it and thanks to answer this forum,. -- [15 x A500]-[2 x A500+]-[3 x A600] [4 x A1000]-[2 x A1200] [12 x A2000]-[1 x A2500] [1 x A2500UX]-[1 x A2500/30] [1 x A3000UX]-[2 x A3000T] [1 x A3500T]-[3 x A4000] [1 x A4000T]-[2 x CDTV]-[3 x CD32] [1 x MicroAmigaOne FX750] [ - Answer - Quote - Direct link - ] |
