Hallo,

ich habe in meinen "neuen" A4000, welcher mein Hauptamiga
werden soll nur eine Cyberstorm MK1 060 drin. Aus der möchte ich
natürlich das Maximum rausholen, ohne sie zu übertackten!

Habe im Aminet auch ein paar Tools gefunden, deswegen die Frage an
euch ob sie ueberhaupt was bringen:

060fix

Ich glaube eher das System läuft ohne die ganzen Tools und Patches um einiges stabiler und sicherer.

Soll jetzt aber Dein Experimentierverhalten nicht beeinträchtigen.

Macht eventuell die 68060 Library auch schon selber. Oder man kann es von Blizkick erledigen lassen.

Make060 ist z.B. dafür da, dem WinUAE oder Amithlon das Vorhandensein einer 60er-CPU vorzugaukeln, damit Software wie z.B. ein Spiel, das als Minimum einen 60er voraussetzt, auch auf dem Emu läuft.

Auszug aus dem Readme:

d) it's useful with Amithlon and UAE, because
some audio and other software does require a 060 for performance
reasons - but the emulated 040 of Amithlon is faster than any
available 060...
